Planning a campaign, product launch, content production, or longer-term visual partnership?

Tell me what your brand is working toward, what content you need, and where the final assets will be used. I work with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands to create campaign photography and visual content designed for launches, paid media, e-commerce, PR, and ongoing brand communication.

How Can I Help?

Choose this option if you already have a campaign, collection, launch, production date, or creative brief in development.

Use the project inquiry form below to share the essential details. I will review your requirements and respond within two business days.

Choose this option if you need greater clarity before commissioning another shoot.

The Visual Audit is a complimentary 30-minute working session focused on your existing campaign visuals, content gaps, brand consistency, and opportunities to improve how your photography supports marketing.

Discuss Your Project

A strong production starts with a clear understanding of the business objective—not simply the number of images required.

Please provide as much information as you currently have. You do not need a finished creative brief to begin the conversation. However, details about your campaign, intended usage, timeline, and approximate investment will help me assess the right production approach.

Your Name
Where Will the Content Be Used?
Please consider the total anticipated production investment, including photography, crew, models, styling, locations, equipment, post-production, and licensing where applicable. Final requirements and costs will be defined after reviewing the brief.

Your information will only be used to review and respond to your inquiry. It will not automatically be added to a marketing list. Most project inquiries receive a response within two business days. By submitting this form, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.

What Happens After You Submit?

1. Initial Review

I will review your objectives, timeline, intended content usage, and available production information.

2. Clarification

If the project appears aligned, I may request additional information or recommend a short project call to clarify the scope.

3. Recommended Approach

Once the requirements are understood, I will outline the appropriate production structure, deliverables, licensing terms, estimated investment, and next steps. Submitting an inquiry does not commit you to a production or automatically reserve a date.

A Strategic Review of Your Brand’s Visual Content

The Free Visual Audit is a complimentary 30-minute working session for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands that want to improve how their visual content supports campaigns, launches, paid media, and long-term brand growth.

This is not a portfolio presentation or a generic sales call. It is a focused conversation designed to identify what may be limiting the performance, consistency, or scalability of your current visual content.

What We’ll Review

During the audit, we may examine:

  • How your current visuals perform across campaigns and platforms
  • Where inconsistency or content gaps may be costing time or budget
  • Whether your shoots are planned for reuse across multiple channels
  • How well your content supports launches, paid media, and ongoing marketing
  • Where your existing production process creates unnecessary complexity
  • What a more efficient visual content system could look like.

You will leave with a clearer understanding of what to improve, what to prioritize, and why it matters.

Is the Visual Audit Right for Your Brand?

The session is best suited to:

  • Fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands
  • Founders, CMOs, brand directors, and marketing teams
  • Brands preparing for campaigns, product launches, or paid advertising
  • Teams managing inconsistent or fragmented visual content
  • Brands exploring an ongoing content partnership or retainer
  • Businesses that want to improve the return on their production investment.

What You’ll Leave With

After the session, you will have:

  • A clearer view of your most important visual-content gaps
  • Practical priorities your team can act on
  • Recommendations for improving consistency and content reuse
  • An honest assessment of whether a project or ongoing partnership makes sense.

If working together is appropriate, I will explain the next logical step. If it is not, you will still leave with useful direction.

Commercial Photography Designed Around How Content Will Be Used

Photography should not be planned as an isolated creative deliverable. It should be developed around the campaign objective, audience, channels, formats, timeline, and commercial value of the final assets.

Projects can be structured to support:

  • Campaigns and product launches
  • Paid social and digital advertising
  • Brand websites and e-commerce
  • Lookbooks and sales materials
  • Public relations and editorial placements
  • Organic social media
  • Short-form video requirements
  • Reusable content libraries
  • Ongoing visual-content systems.

Where appropriate, one production can generate multiple image formats and short-form video assets for different placements. The exact deliverables are defined during pre-production.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer one-off campaign photography?

Yes. One-off commercial productions are available for defined campaigns, product launches, collection releases, beauty shoots, lookbooks, and other strategic content requirements.

However, the production must have a clear commercial objective, defined intended usage, and an appropriate investment. Brands requiring content throughout the year may benefit from an ongoing brand-content partnership instead.

What is included in the photography fee?

The photography fee generally covers Phil Halfmann’s photographic services and the agreed scope of creative and pre-production involvement. Depending on the project, it may also include specified equipment, post-production, image preparation, and delivery.

Third-party production expenses and licensing may be quoted separately. Every proposal will explain what is included, what is excluded, and which costs remain dependent on final production decisions.

What is included in production costs?

Production costs may include:

  • Models and talent fees
  • Hair and makeup
  • Wardrobe styling
  • Assistants and digital technicians
  • Videographers and additional crew
  • Studio or location fees
  • Permits and insurance
  • Equipment rental
  • Set design and props
  • Travel, accommodation, and transportation
  • Catering and production logistics
  • Specialized retouching or post-production

These costs vary according to the concept, production scale, location, team, and deliverables.

Are models, locations, styling, and crew included?

Not automatically.

Models, locations, styling, hair and makeup, production crew, travel, equipment, and other third-party requirements are normally determined after the creative scope has been established. They can then be arranged and included in a transparent production estimate.

This avoids charging every client for resources that a particular production may not require.

How does image licensing work?

Licensing is based on how the images will be used rather than only on the number of images delivered.

Relevant factors include:

  • Media and placement
  • Geographic territory
  • License duration
  • Organic or paid distribution
  • Campaign reach
  • Exclusivity
  • Print quantities
  • Third-party or partner usage.

The proposal will define the permitted usage clearly. Additional uses, extended terms, or renewals can be licensed when required.

Is paid-ad usage included?

Paid-ad usage is included only when it is specifically stated in the proposal or selected service agreement.

Paid media creates different commercial exposure from organic website and social-media use. Therefore, the license may account for campaign duration, territory, media placement, reach, and advertising scale.

This keeps the initial production structure efficient while allowing licensing to reflect the commercial value of the campaign.

Can one production create both photography and video?

Yes. Photography and short-form video can be planned together when both are included during pre-production.

A coordinated production can create horizontal, vertical, and square assets for websites, social media, paid advertising, launches, and other placements. However, adding video affects the shot list, crew, equipment, schedule, and budget, so it should be confirmed before production.

Do you work outside Germany?

Yes. Phil Halfmann is based in Selm, NRW, near Dortmund, and works throughout Germany, Europe, Miami, and selected international locations.

Travel, accommodation, transportation, permits, and local production requirements are included in the estimate where applicable.

How far in advance should a campaign be booked?

Four to eight weeks is recommended for most commercial productions. Larger campaigns involving casting, multiple locations, custom sets, extensive styling, or international travel may require additional lead time.

Shorter timelines may be possible depending on availability and production complexity. Earlier contact provides more flexibility for casting, crew selection, locations, and creative development.

What is the minimum investment?

Most commercial campaign and content productions begin at approximately €3,000, excluding substantial third-party production expenses where applicable.

The final investment depends on the production scope, creative requirements, deliverables, crew, locations, post-production, and licensing. Ongoing brand-content partnerships begin at €3,000 per month with a minimum commitment.
