Loaded ballistic lateral box rebounds emphasizing explosive jumping, balance, body control and coordination.
Wear ankle weights. Place a low box on a solid non-sliding surface and four agility rings laterally, shoulder-width apart, with two in front of and two behind the box. Begin inside the rings in front of the box.
Jump laterally onto the box with both legs simultaneously, land with both feet while looking down, immediately jump off while looking down, rebound back onto the box and finish by jumping off into the agility rings.
Prioritize movement mechanics and maximum-height explosiveness; jump laterally with both feet; maintain consistent landings on the box and inside the rings.
Landing outside the agility rings; losing balance during landing.
Equipment: 2–6 inch box · 4 agility rings · 5–10 lb ankle weights
Degree of difficulty: 1
