Loaded ballistic lateral box rebounds emphasizing explosive jumping, balance, body control and coordination.

Exercise Demonstration

Starting Position

Wear ankle weights. Place a low box on a solid non-sliding surface and four agility rings laterally, shoulder-width apart, with two in front of and two behind the box. Begin inside the rings in front of the box.

Execution

Jump laterally onto the box with both legs simultaneously, land with both feet while looking down, immediately jump off while looking down, rebound back onto the box and finish by jumping off into the agility rings.

Key Coaching Points

Prioritize movement mechanics and maximum-height explosiveness; jump laterally with both feet; maintain consistent landings on the box and inside the rings.

Common Errors

Landing outside the agility rings; losing balance during landing.
