Lunge to MB Diagonal Reach (I)

Exercise demonstration


Starting position

Stand in an athletic stance with the medicine ball held in both hands.

How to perform the exercise

Step forward into a lunge. Bring the ball toward the hip opposite the lead leg, then rotate and reach it diagonally over the lead-side shoulder. Return under control and repeat on the other side.

Coaching points

Keep the lead knee tracking over the foot and rotate through the trunk while maintaining balance. This is the forward-lunge variation.
