Starting Position

Stand in an athletic stance holding the bar with both hands.

How To Perform The Exercise

Step into a forward lunge, rotate the trunk from one side to the other, return to standing, and repeat on the opposite leg.

Book Setup And Video Note

Modified demonstration: the athlete lunges and rotates with the bar, but the bar drops below chest level during parts of the movement. The book calls for straight arms and chest-level bar rotations.
